Milan in some areas can be very seedy but overall it was ok.

Milan is a vibrant city. The locals were very accomodating. It was quite pricey in the more touristy areas and you really needed to book in advance for any thing you wanted to do if you are there for a short time.
We loved the canals at Navagli. This is a lovely area with some wonderful restaurants.
We took a day trip to the lake como. The travel was insanely busy but 100% worth it!! Wish we had more time there to stay longer.
We also did the QC Terme spa. I would really recommend this and would suggest you pay for the Wellness Lunch - as this was divine and include unlimited GOOD coffee and wine.

Milan is awesome.
Milan is awesome. Not only for fashion and luxury, but it's very modern and very Italian. Public transport is excellent, there's a great variety of bars and restaurants, people are nice and active. And of course, you have all the tourist attractions.
I'd recommend taking a short trip to Como Lake from there as well.

Milan is always a surprising city. You can find everything. Elegant shops. Amazing restaurants. Beautiful people. In the city center you can breathe the smell of a european city. It's also a good place where you can invest your money. The real estate market is really good.

Whilst Milan was not as beautiful as Florence or Rome or Venice it has beautiful church interiors! Its Art Galleries are excellent if you are an art enthusiast. Of course for fashion enthusiasts those streets of Montenapoleone and around that vicinity is most exciting. A restaurant we particularly enjoyed was Slow Sud - check it out! Plus Vino e Pasta! But Milan is not the most charming place in Italy that’s for sure!

The city has a lot to see and enjoy.
The city has a lot to see and enjoy. The Museums (Modern Art, Science and Technology and Natural History) are very good. But there was much more to do if there was time. It has an excellent transport network and tickets that work as passes for one day or more. Trains leave from Milan to many parts of Italy on a regular basis. It could be a great base for multiple trips. I just thought that if you don't stay in an apartment and have to eat all your meals outside, it's really expensive. In addition to the fees that are not even specified in the locations, the price-quality ratio is not the best. To eat really well, it's stupidly expensive.
it feels like a home not a hotel, even the breakfast room makes you feel like you’re having a family breakfast with the residents, which is a one of a kind experience. all the staff are friendly, and are helpful regarding trips in Italy. hotel is near the domo which is 20 mins walk. neighborhood is very safe and friendly. our room was great! the extra sofa bed is very roomy as well which is not expected. room has everything working well, heater and ac working perfectly. house keeping were great too.
This very spacious and well-equipped apartment is everything one needs for stay in Milan. Located in a quiet neighborhood but close to central station, perfect for exploring! This is the only property I stayed during my 14 night in Italy this time that offered oil and adapters; from which you can see how considerable and thoughtful the host is. Breakfast cafe is just on the way to central station and very tasty croissants offered. I would definitely wish to come back and stay again.
I recently went to Italy for a family trip, and our last stop in Milan. This place is quite, and it’s in a great neibour hood. It’s about 6 minutes walk to the subway station and bus station. (Enough to bring you to San Sira, and Duomo Milano area). The apartment is big (easily fits 4 adults). There is also a 4.9/5 star rated breakfast place nearby. After a long trip in Italy, I find this place great for relaxing and getting ready for a busy reality.
The place is excellent! I wish I has stayed here on my fist passing through Milan. The location is centric, 20 minutes to the central station by walk, with many options for eating and shopping nearby. Being that centric is very quiet, giving me a great night's rest for my last night in Italy.
Breakfast looked great, but since we had to leave so early they prepared us some sandwiched for the road. So kind!
Nothing fancy, but nice place. Very lively, a lot of different people.Super helpful, attentive personnel.
We chose this hotel mainly because of it's location. It is next to Milano Centrale station, few minutes walk to Terravision bus stop (from/to the airport). Metro station (if you want to go to city centre) also few min walk.
Although there is a lot of action outside, the room is very quiet.
This property is perfect for a stay in Milan. As an added bonus there is a lovely indoor pool which is hard to find in Italy. The location is perfect for shopping and is just a few metro stops from the duomo.
The staff is next to none, friendly, attentive and very helpful. Nicole in particular was helpful before I arrived and throughout my stay.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
My husband and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the manager at your Milan hotel was to us. It was our first time in Italy and we had problems with our cell phones. At the end of her shift she called a cab and took us to a store. She spoke to the associate in Italian and was able to solve our problem. Corina was our angel.
Absolutely perfect location - anything you might think of to see or visit in Milan city center is just a short walk away. The hotel is situated opposite a big park, so it's very quiet at any time of the day. And who said that breakfast in Italy is only pastry and coffee? The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing and abundant!
The staff were so friendly and helpful, making good recommendations of where to visit in the city. The room was perfect and size and exceeded my expectations considering the low cost of the apartHotel. If you want a place to stay in the city centre of Milan, this is perfect, great location with tram stop on the door step.
Great location. A few minutes walk from the main train station. Staff were very helpful especially Veronica who was always so cheerful and answered all our many questions patiently. She gave us tips on where to go and what to do in Milan. The best hotel staff I came across in all the hotels I stayed in Italy.
Located in heart of the city centre only 20 minute walk from train station, It was very convenient for me and also I could drop my bags off at the hotel early in the morning before check in time which allowed me to enjoy the city of Milan for a day. I really loved staying here
The location is 10 minute walking distance to the Milano Convention centre so it was very convenient. There are trams running to the city centre and the tram is running just next to the hotel. The price was very affordable compared to the other hotels in the area.
I liked the location of the Hotel, it was very central and only a few minutes away from the centre of Milan.
Also, the Hotel was able to arrange transport back to the main central train station on Easter Sunday (a day on which usually nobody works in Italy).
Locations is good, close to the main train station, but the area is ok.
Staff is very welcoming.
Room is great and super comby, has everything I needed.
Design is cosy
Brakfast is great.
From now on I would stay only in Anderson hotels in Italy.
the hotel is very beautiful, really great design!
across the street from the metro station, which make it very easy to travel in Milan and to other cities in Italy.
the staff was very kind and helpful. thank you!
Breakfast and staff were excellent, the hotel itself was of a very high standard and I would recommend it to any travellers to Milan. A good walk to the city centre, so in general a quiet location.
Lovely hotel. Great staff. Comfortable facilities.
Largest bathroom I have stayed in in Italy.
Quiet area.
A little away from the train station approximately 16-20 depending on the traffic.
This hotel is the best. We overcame the distance to the City Center by learning how to use bus transport. One cannot get better price/quality ratio in Milan and even most part of Italy.
Great facilities, room size and the Sky channels were a nice touch! The hotel offers so much more than a lot of the hotels which are more expensive in the Milan City Centre.
